Below you’ll find some questions I get asked frequently. If you’re question isn’t listed then please shoot us message and I’ll be happy to answer it.
To place an order you can phone or use the form on the contact page, or you can arrange an appointment for a personal consultation at my home.
When placing an order please include the following:
• Date you wish to collect the cake. We work on a structured day to day basis, and it’s important for you to decide which date you wish to collect your cake. Change of dates is not always available, so please bear this in mind.
• A brief outline of your order/design. Try to include things like any names and dates you might with to have included on the cake. If enquiring about a custom cake try to include things like invitations, favourite things, photographs, all of which might help with the design process.
• Quantity – How many people your cake will need to feed, or how many cupcakes you require.
• Flavour preference.
I aim to get back to you within 24 hours, but during busy periods this isn’t always possible, so please allow up to 48 hours for a response.
It is advisable to book in as far in advance as you can, I’d hate for you to be disappointed. I may be able to fulfil last minute orders, but please don’t be disappointed if I have no space on your required day.

I am not responsible for any damage to your order after it has been collected/delivered.
Due to the high turn over of cakes in my kitchen I do not make gluten, egg or dairy free cakes.
My cakes are not free of dairy free or gluten, nor do they contain alcohol. An allergen breakdown is available for all our recipes, please contact me if you require them.
Although some of my recipes do not contain nuts they are made in an environment where traces of nuts may be present, and for that reason are not suitable for people suffering severe peanut allergies.
Use the cake guide below to estimate how much cake you will need. Too much/little cake is never a good thing. Portions below are based on a round sponge cake.
Guide are approximate and are based on a 1″ x 2″ portion size.
6″ round – 12 portions
8″ round – 24 portions
10″ round – 38 portions
12″ round – 56 portions
We have a range of cake stands to hire from simple cupcake stands to a giant 10 tier one.
The cost of hire is free, but we require a £40 cash deposit which will be refunded on return of the stand.
Stand must be returned in the same condition it was hired out in. Breakages/damages/loss of the cake stand will result in you losing your deposit.
Stands may be returned dirty in the case you are worried about damaging them.
Stand must be returned to Unit 106, Compass Industrial Estate, Liverpool, L24 1YA, where we will issue you with your refund.
Stand hire is only available when making a booking of cakes through Say It With Flours.
Although this is something we have offered in the past it is not something we are pursuing at this moment in time.
