About Me

My name is Braidy Maloney, this is the story so far.

For me, the desire to decorate cakes came after my mother passed away. She was a keen cake decorator, notorious for her wedding cakes, and people would travel miles for them. Cake decorating must be in the blood. You can view some of what she did here.

Family and friends had suggested I go into business, but the leap of faith came when I was asked to sell my cupcakes in a local shop. I thought up a name, registered with Liverpool Council, took a level 2 in food safety, was inspected by the Environmental Health, and was insured with public liability insurance.  All systems are go!

I bake from my home kitchen in L19, Liverpool. I bake to order and enjoy making custom cakes and cupcakes, always looking at things to be inspired by. Check out my gallery to see some of my work.

My cupcakes are stocked in Cosy Bean Coffee, 77 Garston Old Road, Liverpool, L19.

You don’t need an occasion to order cake. Cake is a celebration all on its own.
